It figures. . .

An Australian study finds that 1 in 3 crocodile attacks are on people who have been drinking. The lesson is obvious: Don't drink because you might get attacked by a crocodile. G'day mate!

Hmmm...don't drink because I might get attacked by a crocodile? I'll have to remember that when I open up a cool one watching the 'Skins beat the 49ers this weekend.

Get some crocodile repellant!

Hey JD, watch out, Gibbs is going to get on you for saying the 'Skins are going to "beat the 49ers this weekend."

Basically, that is what he did at his press conference when he berated the media for writing what should be obvious.

Can I borrow some repellant? Clearly, you must have plenty because you must be drinking Bushie juice 24x7.

I am sure Gibbsy and the 'Skins go into every game thinking they are going to win. I'm sure they go in scared and unprepared. If they do, nobody is doing their jobs properly. I am also sure that Gibbsy respects every team (no matter how undeserving (i.e., Chicago Bears)). I don't think there should be a problem with what he said. I know you like to criticize the 'Skins and everything but that seems pretty nitpicky. Think about all the nutty things Ditka or Parcells have said. You gotta pick better material to pick on.

I pick on things that are clearly wrong or which are really odd. You are such a Redskins lover that you won't admit when Gibbsy or the organization is wrong.

I don't get the repellant comment.

What don't you get about the repellant? Clearly, you started early this morning. You said don't drink because you might get attacked by a crocodile. Since you must be drunk, I would assume you have alot of repellant close at hand.

I will admit when the 'Skins/organization is wrong. I just don't see what the big deal is with his comment. I AM confused with the LaVar situation and would like to see him play and have mentioned that several times but I also think that that is the coaches decision. What else is wrong/odd? I will address any issue.

At least I now get the "repellant" reference. What I don't get is your thinking. I make the point because the Washington media basically just said what you said in your first post and Gibbs got on them as if they should consult him before writing that the 49ers are a bad team.

I don't think he wants the media to consult him before writing anything. I think he is merely trying to keep his team focused. Yes, he can have internal meetings to do this (which I am sure he is doing) but honestly what's the big deal? Again, I am sure he expects to win. I am sure he notices that S.F. is not one of the stronger teams in the league so he said something that some people think is silly. It's getting to the point where anything he says is going to be seen as silly by some people and written about. I guess I just don't care so much about that stuff and think it is funny that people get so wound up over the littlest things.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. You did not even see or hear his press conference/comments. His comments were simply ridiculous which is why he got made fun of (and why I am making fun of him). Why don't you just give it up and say he was just wrong because he was.

Justin's D! said...

No, no, no, no, NO! Weak, Rob...weak. Wishy washy.

You're right, I didn't see his conference and maybe I am missing something but I just see what the big deal is. Why don't YOU give up being such a hater. Hey, it's Friday. Relax and enjoy. Apparently you woke up on the wrong side of the web this morning.

Rob said...

You're wrong AND I don't care because I know I am right. You are missing something, but hey, that's OK it does not really matter anyway.

Nice argument.

I cannot argue with you if you don't know the facts. It is like trying to argue with a child. Since you do not know the context and did not read/hear anything about it, how can you argue your point? You cannot, so for me to argue with you is just pointless.

I did not see the press conference but I did read the article attached to your posting. I still say what's the big deal? Maybe there was something more in the conference but I see nothing in the article that seems odd.
