Bears and Redskin Stats

Bears rolled over the 49ers and got back on track after the debacle in the Desert two weeks ago. Redskins are probably happy to be on a bye. Here are the updated stats:

Redskins - 25th-ranked scoring defense (24 pts/game - up 1 slot), 26th-ranked defense in terms of yardage/game (350 yds/game - no change).

The Bears have allowed 1 rushing TD this year (tied for #2). The Redskins have allowed 3 rushing TDs (tied for #6).

OFFENSE:

Bears - #1-ranked scoring 0ffense (32 pts/game - no change), 11th-ranked offense in terms of yardage/game (336 yds/game - up 3 slots).

Redskins - 17th-ranked scoring offense (20 pts/game - up 1 slot), 12th-ranked offense in terms of yardage/game (326 yds/game - up 1 slot).

This is the sign of a truly great team. The 'Skins are so good, they don't even have to play and they move up in the rankings. What more can you ask for???

Good one. They should stop playing altogether and maybe they will make the playoffs. :)

JKD is wrong when he says the 'Skins best defense is their offense. Their best defense is obviously the bye week.

Nice. Sad, but true.
