Rush on Michael J. Fox

Here is the video of Rush's attack. Of course, Rush had no problem when Fox supported Republican Arlen Specter.

Amazing that Rush is even taken seriously anymore. The guy has made faux pas after faux pas. Remember his comments on McNabb?

"I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL,'' Limbaugh said. "The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. They're interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well ... McNabb got a lot of the credit for the performance of the team that he really didn't deserve.''

He was subsequently fired for these comments.

ESPN has some integrity.

Rush has literally millions of folks who believe that he is telling the truth on the radio. I have to give him credit - he has talent and is entertaining - that is why people listen.

He also has a folksy way of sounding like he knows what he is talking about. But sounding like he knows what he is talking about is not the same as knowing what he is talking about.

That is the one quality you need for people to listen to you and think you are correct. If you sound like you know what you talk about, people will believe you. You may know what you talk about but if you don't sound convincing, people won't believe you.

Sadly, there are a number of politicians, leaders, teachers, etc. that don't know what they are talking about but are convincing so people believe them even if they are telling lies.
