NFL Rankings

Yahoo! Sports - Bears #5, Redskins "muddled middle."

CBS Sportsline - Bears #2, Redskins #20.

ESPN - Bears #3, Redskins #20.

The Bears-Giants game is huge this week - for both the Bears and the Redskins.

Should be a good weekend for football. I'm almost looking forward to the Bears/Giants game as much as the 'Skins/Eagles game. Just as a football fan, you have to like the Sunday night matchup. I will be even more interested in that game if the Redskins can pull out a victory against Philly.

Don't worry, the Redskins won't do it, but the night game will still be worth watching. I think Philly at home coming off a bye and with everything on the line will be too much for the 'Skins.

Very honestly, it is better for them if they lose so that the J.C. era can begin. Looking ahead, the schedule is not favorable for the Redskins, and I doubt they are going to go 7-1 down the stretch. Might as well end the impossible dream and work on next year.

At this point, the Bears-Giants game looks like a preview of the NFC Championship game.

Like I said, I will be happy either way. It would be good to put together back to back divisional wins especially at Philly but if we lose, I will be happy to see Campbell.

Both the Bears and Giants have a lot to prove and can do it Sunday night. Will be interesting to see what happens.

If the 'Skins win, I will be cheering for the Bears. However, if the 'Skins lose, I will be cheering for the Giants because it will put the 'Skins WAY out of contention and pretty much force us to think of next year and start Campbell.
