Dominating Bear Win
The Bears went to Dallas and beat up the Cowboys. The story of the game was defense. The Bears picked off Romo five times including two pick-6's. They weren't all Romo's fault - his receivers and O-line did not give him much help.
On the offensive side of the ball the Bears were very efficient. They moved the ball pretty well on a solid - but injured - Dallas D. Getting a few first downs before punting is huge because it can change the field position game. Cutler was on last night and it was good to see Forte get some touches. He clearly wasn't 100 percent but he certainly did contribute.
It was great seeing the O-line largely control the line of scrimmage. They didn't open up big rushing lanes but they did punch some holes open. The pass protection was solid all night which gave Cutler enough time to operate.
Overall it was a good game for Bear fans. Next up is Jacksonville - which should be a win - and then it is the bye so guys can get healed up and rest. Going into the bye at 4-1 would be great. We'll see.

Seemed more of a Cowboy loss than a Pear win.
Pears did what they needed to do and I don't want to take anything away from them but the Cowboys SUCKED yesterday.
WRs sucked with dropped balls, lining up improperly, misundertanding the QB/not understanding the routes. Romo was off missing open WRs for potential TDs. The O line is not that great.
Pears clearly seem focused on running and shorter, quicker passes and this seems to help their weaker O line.
It was a good win for the Pears but I have to believe if you are a Cowboy fan you have to be ticked at that performance. Thing is it seems like it is just a poorly coached team with Garret not being able to control all the big personalities that come with that job. They really need a proven veteran coach to take the reins of that team. Parcells was the right guy because he wasn't going to take shat from anyone.
Cowboys have talent but they are just a mess. Will be interesting to see how their season goes.
Dez Bryant sucks.
Finally, Jay George is still and arse. Not sure I could even root for him even if he was on the Skins.
I generally agree with your assessment. I do think the Bears are a good team and I also think the Cowboys are a pretty bad team.
Going on the road and winning is what a good team should do to a bad team - so the Bears did what they had to do.
I really do like the Bears D. They are much more physical and younger with their front 4 than they have been in years past. They also have very good safeties in Conte (second year) and Wright (third year). With Tillman playing his normal good football an Jennings playing above himself, and a solid nickel back in D.J. Moore they are very solid in the secondary. Urlacher is losing a step and Briggs is getting up in age, but with Roach, they are a solid linebacking unit.
Jay is Jay - what can you do?
The safeties may be okay. Peanut and Jennings were beaten consistently but bad passes and/or dropped balls killed the Cowboys.
Agree that the Pears took care of business and it's not their fault the Cowboys couldn't execute and made a number of mental errors. Still, it was a horrendous performance by the 'Boys led by Dez Bryant.
Jay is an arse. He's got a look on his face that just makes you want to punch him.
